Day 34, Miles City, Montana

Still proceeding east we stopped at Miles City for an overnight stay. At first it looked like another Deer Lodge, below KOA standards. But it turned  out to be a nice Campground. Talking about buts a few days ago we passed through a town called Butte, pronounced "Bute". I wonder just how often town members are the Butte of jokes concerning their town name. Colleen said she can remember reference to a town called  Elephant Butte. But could this be?.

Next stop Bismarck ND, a 275 mile drive, long for us.
