Today was the day of the tour. While we saw a little on our previous day's excursion this would be more detail. We met the tour guide and hopped aboard the bus. The guide took off like there was a fire. This was morning rush hour but he was determined to break all records.
Somewhat surprisingly we made it to a Holiday Express where we picked up the remaining party. We visited the famous market and other historic downtown highlights. We had a glimpse of the suburbs , visited the Seattle Locks, and had a look at the impressive sports arena's. I must confess that I have a new view of Seattle. It has a vibrant downtown, a good economy thanks to Boeing, Amazon and Microsoft.
After 3 hours the tour ended and we headed back to the KOA. The fire was still raging and the Tour guide was determined to put it out. It was a while knuckled experience. I think he had a secret wish to be a Formula One race driver. Being a tour guide was just a temporary affair.
