Day 20, Lynden KOA, Washington State.
We left Seattle around 9:00 am, just in time to enjoy the rush hour traffic. Our next stop was Lynden WA, about 120 miles North. Before heading off the Interstate we filled up with gas to offset in some small way what we know will be high Canadian prices. Not only do they dump snow on us for 6 months of the year but they rip us off with our invention..
It took some narrow country roads to get there but it was well worth it This is the nicest looking KOA we have ever seen. This could pass for a pristine park let alone a campground. At first we may have thought that this stop for two nights was a waste but we look forward to spending a rest day in really nice surroundings. Walks , reading , knitting will be the order of the day. Dey have deh WIFI. Dirk will be pleased.
